Well, for those of you who haven't heard yet I am leaving for Canada this winter.  I'm working out at the winter Olympics in Vancouver Feb and Mar and I'm pretty stoked about it.  I've never really been to Canada except once when I was 19 just right across the border from Ann Arbor, MI.  Everyone tells me its gorgeous.  I guess the rest of this week will be dedicated to getting ready for that.  Leaving the country for this long I'm gonna have to really prepare.  I'm kinda bummed cuz I really didn't want to pay rent while I was gone for 2 months.  Its just $$ flying out the door but oh well.  I tried to get out of my lease but was unable to.  As far as bills I guess I'll have to pay them all up front or write post dated checks or something.  Not sure.  And then there's Wilson my dog, which I still haven't figured out what the heck I'm gonna do with him.  I originally had planned to leave him with my mom back in Texas but she said no so now I have  to go to plan B....whats plan B? lol All my friends rent with no backyards or have other pets.  Ok now i'm stressing....

Alot of people have been asking what I'm doing out there. Well, I'll be working with a bus company, assisting bus drivers and keeping them on schedule all day.  My GM at the diner got me the job and it worked out perfect since I'm technically laid off from the diner till April.  So I'll be back just in time for the season to pick up so if you were planning on coming to see me in Feb or Mar , I'm sorry I wont be there : (  I'm hoping that once I'm out there I can network and get a chance to sing the national anthem at one of the games!!!!  That would be awesome!!!
