America's Favorite Finalists
ok so I had heard rumors about an American Idol show coming to Branson for months. And now its official!!! www.thegrandpalace.com has ticket info. I was opening for Starship (formerly known as Jefferson Starship) on Friday at the Branson Landing and the producer of the show approached me when I got off and told me to call him about hosting the show!!!! : ) Its called America's Favorite Finalists!!! Featuring a rotating cast of Top 12 Finalists from seasons 1-6. Opening June 20-October 26th. Opening night is this Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For locals wanting to go, please visit me at the Hard Luck Diner next door. I will still be performing there during the day. And if you bring your receipt from the diner to the box office you can get $5.00 off any priced ticket!!! Please come see me this summer!!!!!! I'm very excited about it!!!!

Hey Jason, you and I have never met but you just recently met my mom at the diner. She is married to your cousin Vernon. She bought me your cd while she was there and I LOVE IT!!! I can't wait for your new one.
Anyways I just wanted to wish you the best of luck with the America's Favorite Finalist thing. It sounds like a lot of fun for you. I hope to meet you soon, but if not then maybe I will see you at the family reunion.

Hi Jason, I spoke to your mom about seeing the AI Finalists show when we go through Branson, but when I called today to get tickets I found out the show was canceled. Will you be performing somewhere in Branson on July 18th? I'm not looking forward to passing through Branson without a certain little blond stalker being able to see her fav Idol! lol

Thanks for the comment! : ) Yes, unfortunately the show has closed. There are talks of it maybe going on the road...possibly to Vegas....we'll see. But in the mean time I'm still performing daily at "Mel's Hard Luck Diner". Come see me when you can! : )

I want to start out by saying I am so sorry about your dog, Freckles. I have a cocker spaniel named Maddie and I don't know what I would do if I lost her.
You probably don't remember me but my best friend, Kaylee, and I came to the Hard Luck Cafe for lunch on the Fourth of July. We took a picture with you and had to get a lady working in the gift shop to help us find to sign your CD that we bought. A man went into the kitchen to get you. I want to say thanks for signing the CD's. You are an awesome singer. I remember you singing Does Anybody Hear Her by Casting Crowns. I LOVE that song! We were so happy when we heard you singing it. At first me and my friend thought it was the radio!! When we saw you turn around the corner we were like "Woah." We listened to your CD the whole way from Branson to Leslie, AR(we were staying with a friend) and from Leslie to Pine Bluff, AR. I'm listening to it right now. You are such a great singer!
I am now saving up money to buy your new CD!! My parents only let me get on the internet once a day for an hour so I'll be back on to this website tomorrow.

Yes I love Casting Crowns as well. I will have a few of their tunes on this new cd. I'm very excited! We're in the final stages of getting it sent out. Here in the next few days prolly! Thank you for the really nice message and all the support! It really is good to hear from fans!!! : )

Casting Crowns is awesome. We have a band at our church(Watson Chapel Baptist Church)called Praise Band and they often sing Casting Crowns songs.
I have been saving up some money to buy your 2nd CD and I now have about $30. So I will buy it as soon as it comes out. I already have your first one and I've been listening to it a lot.
I have to get off the internet now.

You have one of the best voices I have ever heard...I put you right up there with Elvis.He has been my favorite since I was 11. I am now 63!!!!! Me ands some friends met you in October before you appeared on the idol and we were so impressed with you. You sat and talked to us for quite a while and were telling us that you were trying out for the idol. Your cd is in my car at all times. The last song is my favorite. I think you should do a Christian cd. I will be the first to purchase it. I heard you had everyone in your church crying when you sang a song to Jesus. She is a member of the HOT HITS cast, The Isle of Dreams. The I am blessed to meet such a fine young man as yourself. I am bringing my niece who is a fan of yours and cried when you didn't continue on the idol.... to see you in Branson. That is all she wanted for her 16th birthday!!!!!God bless, Lynnda
